Everyone is warmly invited to Church of the Wild River! We meet on the first Saturday of the month at 10:00AM on the banks of the Powhatan/James River in Goochland County, Virginia. Church of the Wild River draws deeply from the incarnational theology of Celtic Christian spirituality. In particular, it sees the natural world revealing the sacramentality of all creation. All matter is infused with the divine presence and offers glimpses of the world behind the surface of things. Our time together includes simple song, sacred reading, silent wanders, contemplative prayer, and conversation. All you need to bring is a camp chair or blanket to sit on. A journal is suggested. We begin at 10:00 AM and go for roughly 90 minutes. Come and see what Wild Church is all about! Location: the closest physical address is 1160 Lickinghole Road, Goochland, VA 23063. Once there, keep going across the RR tracks all the way to the river! We are about 1/2 mile upriver from Westview Camp and Conference Center. Directions:
